It is so surreal to me that this season is coming to an end tomorrow. No matter the outcome of tomorrow’s competition, it has not only been my honor, but my privilege to coach such an amazing group of young athletes. It has been such a blessing to be able to call this team my first. Through all of the tears and sweat, I can honestly say that Jahmere, Katie, Eunique and I have set their young minds and bodies up for such a successful future. But I can’t go without mentioning their work ethic, they are the most humble, hard working and determined group of young people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Each of them has touched my heart and made me fall even deeper in love with the sport. I will always look back at this season as not only a success but such an amazing learning experience. You all hold such a special place in my heart, and cannot wait to see you transform into not only incredible cheerleaders but young men and women. Tomorrow is not about 1st or jackets, it is about coming together as a family and doing what we love to do. Code yellow you are my heart and there is nothing that will break our bond.
